Coronavirus (COVID-19)

You can find the latest information and advice from Public Health England at www.gov.uk/coronavirus

In accordance with the latest guidance we have severely restricted access to the Surgery.

ONLY patients that have been triaged and have BOOKED appointments will be given access. All other matters need to be done via Telephone or Online, email* (*non clinical matters only).

Please DO NOT queue outside the surgery in the morning, waiting for the doors to open - not only does this contravene the latest social distancing advice, you will only be asked to return home to contact the surgery by phone.

If you need to drop off repeat medication requests or register at the surgery there are appropriate ‘drop offs’ just inside the inner door.

Our appointment system has changed –All GPs will be working from a single but prioritised list and will respond according the urgency of the request. You may not speak to your usual GP. The more details you can give our staff the better our GPs can prioritise their calls. It is likely routine matters may take several days to be actioned.

To reduce the number of patient contacts we will be introducing both telephone and video contact with patients. This will reduce the number of traditional face to face consultations and so reduce the risk of infection to patients and staff alike.

Our GPs will also be ringing all patients prior to their already booked appointments to determine what the best consultation type will be.

Online booking of appointments have been temporarily suspended.

Thank you for your consideration during these difficult times.
