Dr John Pettit
BM MRCGP (Reg 1988 Southampton)

John Pettit

I was born in Australia of English parents and brought up in South Devon. I graduated from Southampton Medical School and then completed my GP training in Bristol, Poole and Cairns Australia. I became a ¾ time partner here in 1996, with interests in heart disease prevention, Western medical acupuncture, sports medicine and mental health. When I am not in the surgery, I represent North Wiltshire practices on the Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group (what was the Health Authority), and carry out appraisals for other local GPs.  I have four mostly grown up children. Interests include photography, cycling and running.

Dr Jackie Neale
MB ChB  DA DRCOG (Reg 1983 Birmingham)

Originally from rural Shropshire, I qualified in 1983 and spent the first 10 years of my career in a variety of hospital based specialities in Birmingham and Shropshire. This gave me a broad base of experience upon which to build as I came into the world of general practice in 1993. I joined this surgery in 1995, and am happily settled here, living in a local village. As a general practitioner I am pleased to see anyone about any kind of medical problem. I do have interests in the subjects of diabetes, addiction issues, mental health, and have been involved with postnatal mother and baby checks for many years. Away from the surgery I have always appreciated being close to nature and the countryside ; in contrast I also have a lifelong enthusiasm for motorsport and road/track pursuits.

Dr Anna Le

My introduction to General Practice was as a Registrar at the Surgery where I benefitted from having being trained by my enthusiastic trainer and great friend the late Dr Christopher Townsend. In 1991 I became a part time clinical partner and my areas of interest are child health surveillance, women's health, sexual health medicine, family planning (including coil fitting) and dermatology. I currently do 6 sessions a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

I grew up not all that far away in Swindon but moved to Aberdeen to embark on my medical training.  Following graduation in 2004 I worked in the Highlands and then New Zealand before returning to Swindon to complete my training in General Practice.  I originally came to Malmesbury as part of my GP training and upon completing this was very pleased to be asked to stay on to work here. Alongside working as a GP here I also work in the Out of Hours service on occasional weekends as well as in A E.  My interests within medicine include Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Minor Surgery.    Outside work I enjoy martial arts, skiing,  scuba diving and have recently taken up sailing.  I am also hoping to combine my love of travel with medicine by working occasionally as a doctor in expedition medicine.
