Due to Covid Guidelines Visits will only be made if clinically essential and so avoid unnecessary risk to the patient and the clinician.
If you are unable to come to the surgery a doctor or Specialist Practitioner* will visit you at home. Remember – facilities for examination and treatment are better at the surgery and the less time the doctor has to spend travelling means more time available for all patients.
Please try to request a home visit before 10.00AM whenever possible. The decision to make a home visit will based on the Doctors assessment of the illness.

Specialist Practitioner* (SP) We have a fully trained Paramedic /Specialist Practitioner in our team . One of their main roles is to undertake home visits where traditionally the doctors would have gone. The SP is able to assess and treat the majority of home visits equally if not better than a GP . They also have the benefit of technical equipment not normally carried by a GP.
